Short Stories - Bugged

Recently the lovely and supportive Mrs Jones has begun setting me a few writing challenges to help get my writing chops up to scratch before I continue on my perpetual work-in-progress, Jewels.

Each challenge will be to write a short story on a theme and in a genre of her choosing, and no greater than 10,000 words. I'll post whatever splenetic mush my poor brain can produce here on the site.

So, anyhoo, the first short challenge was...

Genre: SF

Theme: Bugs
